SAP ABAP Developer
Location: Near Zurich, Switzerland
Work Schedule: 4 days a week in the office
Travel Opportunities: Switzerland and Germany
Language Requirement: German (required)
Position Overview: As a SAP ABAP Developer, you will play a critical role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of four in-house products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, code, and test SAP applications that meet the evolving needs of clients. This position offers the perfect balance of in-office collaboration and travel opportunities within Switzerland and Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP programs to support in-house products.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Optimize and enhance existing SAP applications for performance and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely support to end-users.
Document technical designs, test plans, and user guides.
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends to continuously improve our products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a SAP ABAP Developer, with a strong understanding of SAP modules and integration.
Proficiency in ABAP programming, including ABAP Objects, ALV reporting, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Frameworks.
Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Fluent in German (required).
