Kotlin Developer (Fully remote)

About the Role: Seeking a skilled Kotlin Developer to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge mobile applications. As a Kotlin Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable code in Kotlin. This is a fully remote contract position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain mobile applications using Kotlin.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Kotlin Developer with a strong portfolio of mobile applications.
Proficiency in Kotlin programming language.
Solid understanding of mobile application development lifecycle.
Experience with Android SDK and working with remote data via REST and JSON.
Familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with MVVM architecture.
Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Hilt.
Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of CI/CD processes.
