Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer with a strong background in APIs and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent English skills and have a passion for creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. You will work closely with our development and product teams to produce high-quality documentation that helps developers and operators understand and use our products effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Document APIs: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for our APIs, ensuring clarity and ease of use for developers.
Kubernetes Documentation: Create and update documentation related to Kubernetes, including deployment guides, configuration instructions, and troubleshooting tips.
Technical Writing: Produce and edit technical content that communicates complex information clearly and accurately.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand the documentation needs.
Review and Edit: Proofread and edit documentation for clarity, grammar, and style consistency.
User Guides and Tutorials: Develop user guides, tutorials, and other educational materials to help users get the most out of our products.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve documentation based on user feedback and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
Strong English Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
Technical Expertise: Proven experience in technical writing, particularly in documenting APIs and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Docker: Understanding of Docker and containerization technologies.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality documentation.
Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
Technical Tools: Proficiency in using documentation tools and platforms (e.g., Markdown, Git, JIRA, Confluence).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other container orchestration tools.
Previous experience working in an Agile development environment.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Basic programming knowledge to understand code examples and technical concepts.
